Duplicate Name Checking

We’ve made a significant enhancement to RedView CRM’s duplicate name checking to make it easier for you to identify and manage existing records.

What’s new?

When a duplicate is found in Clients & Contacts:

  • You’ll now see any related matters, along with the matter type and the contact’s role on that matter.

  • Clicking on the matter link takes you directly to the matter record so you can review all details if necessary.

  • Clicking Select will use the existing contact for your enquiry (as if chosen from the drop-down list).

For best results, remember to hover over the duplicate icon!!

Coming in the next release:

  • A similar display for duplicate enquiry names found at the bottom of the screen.

  • The ability to run this duplicate check on existing enquiry records, not just new ones.

Other updates:

  • Duplicate checking now also applies when adding non-PMS contacts.

  • This feature is available in the RedView CRM Outlook add-ins.

We believe this improvement will greatly reduce duplicate name creation and could even serve as a preliminary conflict check.
