Access Matter Information from Outlook

A new component of the Acuity Outlook add in allows you to retrieve matter information to review and also add a file note to the matter.

The Acuity Outlook add in now has 2 options:

Note that if you have installed the add in previously you will need to uninstall and re-install to make the new functionality available.

Selecting the Dashboard menu item displays the KPI Summary as per the previous version. Selecting the Matters menu item provides a drop down list to allow you to search for the required matter.

Once you select a matter, it populates the screen with details of the matter, including financials and details of previous file notes.

To add a new file note select the New File Note panel highlighted above. This will provide the following data entry function:

The COPY SUBJECT and COPY CONTENT buttons bring in the details from the selected email if required, otherwise you just enter the required note into the text box.

Clicking SAVE FILE NOTE will the save the note in RedView.

If you are LEAP user, the note will also be written as a matter comment against the matter in LEAP.
