Tracking Dashboard Accesses

New functionality has been added to the RedView platform that tracks usage level of the various dashboards.

If you are using RedView Acuity access to the Firm Dashboard and the Fee Earner Dashboard is tracked.

If you are using RedView CRM access to the Enquiries Dashboard is tracked.

If you are using RedView Tasks or Concierge access to the Task Dashboard is tracked.

If you are using RedView Connect, clients accessing the Client Dashboard is tracked. Note that if you want to see which matters clients are accessing then this is available via the Matter Access panel.

As a RedView Administrator, access to these statistics is available via the Administration Console where a new information panel is available.

A dashboard access is triggered when a user:

  • clicks on the dashboard menu item

  • changes to look at a new panel

  • refreshes the dashboard

  • with Firm Dashboard, changes the Scope e.g. looks at a department or office.

Basically whenever a new dashboard is viewed.

Clicking on the access counters in the panel will drilldown to show the logs that make up that number. Clicking on the blue tile will drilldown to show all accesses that have been logged. Sorting and grouping functions in the drilldown table are provided for further analysis.

Clicking on the graph icon in the bottom right corner of the panel provides analytics by day and time of access.

Note that this change was introduced in the software release of 30 August 2023 so access logging commenced from that date.
