RedView and Bryant McKinnon

Located in the Coff’s Harbour region of Australia, Bryant McKinnon Lawyers provide the full suite of Family Law services to their community. Partner Benjamin Bryant talks about how the firm is using RedView CRM and RedView Acuity to help their business with incoming enquiries and understand their financial position better.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
‘After we moved across to LEAP to run our back office system, we came across RedView and immediately saw the benefits,’ said Benjamin. ‘I was interested in the CRM and how that solved our enquiry entry issues - whereas my business partner Heather wanted the Acuity product for greater financial analysis. So guess what? We got both.’

CHALLENGES
Before RedView, the firm had difficulties in identifying pre-clients, ‘so if you entered a potential client into LEAP, it wasn’t distinguishing between an existing long term client and a possible new one,’ said Benjamin. ‘We also wanted the ability to be able to compare our financial position now with where it was last year - which would then allow us to identify the kind of cycles our business was experiencing.’

HOW REDVIEW HELPED
‘With RedView CRM, I can see where a client has come from, who referred them and what type of matter it is,’ said Benjamin. ‘And we do that at a glance. And with RedView Acuity, financial comparison over time is now easy - plus we can also use the budgeting tool to make sure we’re on track with our fees.’ Benjamin also believes one of the big pluses for Redview is how it integrates seamlessly with LEAP.

RESULTS, ROI AND FUTURE PLANS
‘RedView CRM has made a big difference in saving time in processing new enquires. Plus we are now capturing information that we weren’t before and this is helping our business grow,’ said Benjamin. In terms of the Acuity product? ‘Not only has it saved time but its extremely handy having those graphs to refer to – we can see what is happening with the business so clearly now.’
