Charts are available to help manage draft invoices.
Draft invoices are invoices that have been created but not approved. Until they are approved, posted and sent to the client – they effectively lock up the Fees as they cannot be collected from the client, hence cash is locked up.
The chart below shows outstanding draft invoices by person acting.
Other versions are available in different dimensions - for example, matter type, category, person responsible, and the breakdown shows the amounts based on these groupings.
If you click on any of the chart elements, or the total, the drill down will display details of the draft invoices, including the date of the draft so “old” drafts can be actioned.
