We have received lots of policies and updates about COVID-19, as I am sure everyone has – from various providers and suppliers. This message is not about our policy, but about our business philosophy at this significant time in world history. (Yep, we are living through something that will be a subject in high school history sometime in the future!)
Firstly, we need to take time to congratulate and celebrate the real heroes – the front line health and emergency services workers who are working hard to keep us safe, and the myriad of brilliant researchers and innovators working together to find ways to lessen the impact of COVID-19 – be it from vaccines to cures to ways of re-purposing their businesses to help the cause.
From our point of view, it has been rewarding to see the use of our technology being ramped up to assist our clients in these challenging times and to know that we are contributing in some small way. We will continue to do our best to help in any way we can. During this time, Red Rain continues to operate, and we will continue to think of ways we can help.
To our clients, we will strive to be even better at supporting you. We will continue to look to innovate and build our technology to assist you and on that point, please feel free to reach out to us if you need assistance on anything IT. We may not be able to directly assist on all of your hurdles, but if we can’t, we’d be more than happy to put you in touch with another partner who might.
To our staff, we will do everything we can to keep you employed. This is not only because we have a talented and committed team of people that we want to look after but also because we need to get through this together, so we can come out the other side - together. If all of commerce doesn’t take this view it will take longer for all of us to recover.
To our partners, we will do our best to help you be successful.
To our suppliers, we are in the same boat – we are a supplier in a supply chain. We will work hard to make sure we are not the weakest link – if we all pull together, we can all carry ourselves through.
